While Friends has decided to suspend Philadelphia Open House (POH) tours this year, some of our POH partners have decided to go ahead and hold this annual fundraiser on their own. Please support them and the neighborhoods they represent.

Plan to come Sunday afternoon, May 3. Beginning at 1 p.m., be welcomed to the lovingly maintained, inventively restored storied stone centenarians and churches that surround West Philadelphia's first rail stop.
It's a time to see spring at its florid finest and learn more about one of the city's most celebrated communities. Follow your tour with a relaxing traditional Victorian tea in magnificent Ivy Hall, an elegant Federal style mansion featuring paired chimneys, Palladian windows, and a grand ballroom.
Enjoy our neighborhood, recently listed on the roster of Classic Towns of Greater Philadelphia. Visit unique, lovingly restored or preserved architectural beauties, and this year we've added a garden walk that showcases spring at its blooming best.

As Philadelphia's oldest neighborhood, Queen Village has a fascinating mix of homes, ranging from tiny trinities dating back to the eighteenth century to nineteenth century row homes and converted warehouses, and contemporary post-modern dwellings.
On this self-guided walking tour, explore homes featuring meticulous historic restoration, sophisticated contemporary design and décor, and a range of art and craft collections. In addition to touring homes, participants can enjoy glimpses of beautiful courtyards and gardens, quaint alleys, historic churches, and an annual art fair in the neighborhood park

Sponsored by the Society Hill Civic Association in center city Philadelphia, the event is a self-guided tour of over 10 private homes and gardens in one of the most historic districts in the U.S. "Many people may not realize that Society Hill has more original historic houses than anywhere in the country. Each year, the Society Hill Tour offers a fresh line-up of homes and gardens." The interiors of these exquisite homes range in style from the 18th and 19th century period to contemporary. Visitors will have a rare, intimate glimpse into these exceptional private homes and gardens. Some people visit specifically to get inspiration for their own home décor.

Proceeds from our tour are used for neighborhood improvement projects. Society Hill takes pride in our charming brick sidewalks, but many are uneven and have resulted in injuries for residents and tourists in recent years. The brick sidewalk project is the beneficiary of this year's tour.
